This beautiful photo of native Australian parrots was taken recently at Lamington National Park which is located west of the Gold Coast, Queensland. The red and blue parrots are Crimson Rosella's and the red and green are King Parrots. They are feeding on sunflower seeds. I couldn't resist adding this photo to my blog as it is just so beautiful .. enjoy !!
Beautiful photo, you could almost use it as a quilt design. Those parrots do love their sunflower seeds.
ReplyDeleteWOW...those parrots are so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous picture.
They are beautiful! Wow. Pip, you're right, it would make a great quilt design. Have you seen the page at Twelve by 12 where they used the colors of a Lorikeet as a theme for one challenge?
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to tell you that I tried posting that DJ Color chart on my blog. It's in the text of a post from yesterday. It looks very tiny on the screen for some reason, but it's a pdf so you should be able to zoom in if you open it...Let me know what you think if you get time to take a peak. It's probably one of those things that only makes sense to me, LOL.
